Tyler Gale - Director

Finger Lakes Lacrosse is led be former All Central New York Player of the Year, and Loyola University Alum Tyler Gale. Coach Gale has been the Director of the Finger Lakes Lacrosse Club since 2009.  He was an All-American at LaFayette high-school in 2005. Coach Gale was also a member of the South Australia Lacrosse  League where he lived after graduation from Loyola University.  Coach Gale currently works for Cascade/Maverik Lacrosse as the Product Field Testing Coordinator.  He is also an assistant coach at Morrisville State College.

Jason Longo -Coach

Under his direction, Morrisville State collected its fourth consecutive NEAC Tournament title, and made its fourth straight appearance in the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament.The ninth year head coach for the Mustangs has guided the program to a collective 62-5 overall record in conference play throughout his career, and a 99-50 overall record.His 99th win came in the opening round of the NCAA Tournament two days ago, as Morrisville State collected the 8-7 overtime victory over Eastern University, the program’s first within NCAA Tournament play.This is the sixth season under the tutelage of Longo that Morrisville State has finished with an undefeated conference slate (2010, 2011, 2012, 2015, 2016, 2018), capturing regular season titles in those same seasons, along with another in 2017 after the Mustangs finished 7-1 in conference play.His squad led the conference in numerous categories across the 2018 season, including goals scored, assists, goals per game, ground balls, face-off percentage and goals against average.Longo was named Coach of the Year by the NEAC in 2010, 2011, 2015, 2016 and now in 2018, and throughout his time has coached numerous all-conference selections, along with individual award winners that have earned Rookie, Player or Defensive Player of the Year accolades.

Tim Barth-Coach

Coach Barth joined the Morrisville State College Men's lacrosse staff in the fall of 2013 as the Head Assistant Coach.  Under his direction, Morrisville State recently collected its fourth consecutive NEAC Tournament title, and made its fourth straight appearance in the NCAA Division III Championship Tournament.  He helped lead the defense to the program’s first NCAA Tournament win.   His defense led the NEAC in goals against average.  Barth has helped garner Coach of the Year by the NEAC in 2015, 2016 and now in 2018, and throughout his time has coached numerous all-conference selections, along with individual award winners that have earned Rookie, Player or Defensive Player of the Year accolades.

After graduation Barth taught Global History & Economics at Rush-Henrietta Senior High School where he Coached various levels of lacrosse for the district.  He's also coached with a USA College Travel  program and lead athletes around Europe/Australia teaching the game of lacrosse. 

Along with his Coaching responsibilities, Barth is also an Academic Advisor on campus for Morrisville and will help provide FLLC with his inside knowledge of the college admissions and academic processes.

Jim Longo - 3x State Champion Coach

Coach Longo has lead the Cazenovia to 3 state championships, and 2 state championship runner up title.  They have also won 5 sectional titles in that time.  The long time coach of Cazenovia has also been honored as coach of the year 3 times.


Throughout all of the championships, and all of the accolades, Coach Longo is known for being one of the founding fathers of lacrosse in Cazenovia.  He has coached players on to successful careers and colleges such as Maryland, Denver, Lemoyne, Rutgers, and many many more. 

Coach Longo adds great leadership to the roster of Finger Lakes Lacrosse Coaches.  His winning attitude and lacrosse wisdom help round out the talented staff of the Finger Lakes Lacrosse Club.
